Incoming payment in QAR currency

I have bought tickets using my Bunq Master Card in QAR currency. Shortly after, I became eligible for a refund. I have not received such refund in my Bunq account to date. When I have checked with the vendor, I was informed that refund was transferred to my Bunq account on 28 April in QAR currency. What should I do?

Munkhdelger Bunq accounts can only receive payments in the same currency. For example, an Euro sub-account can only receive Euros, a Dollar sub-account can only receive Dollars. Unfortunately, bunq doesn't support QAR sub-accounts.

Payments sent in a different currency can't be received and are sent back to the sender.

You have to ask the vendor to send the refund in Euro's (or any other currency, as long as you have a sub-account in this currency).

Munkhdelger Is it a refund to your card? Then it should work regardless of the currency. Only if you receive the money by bank transfer (SWIFT) then the currency is important.

If you‘re having issues with the refund please get the transaction information and IDs from the merchant, then supply that to bunq support so they can research it.
