Hallo zusammen, kennt jemand die Peobleme das die Karte bei SIXT und Booking.com nicht angenommen wird?
Sven Hi! Sixt indeed doesn't support bunq cards. No idea why, since the bunq Mastercard credit and Metal card should be accepted, but Sixt doesn't.
About booking.com, I just added my Metal card to booking.com without any issues.
Sven I have used Booking.com a few times without issues. They also have a deal for bunq customers (look in the deals section of the bunq app) where you get a bit cashback.
As for Sixt, they are indeed infamous for discriminating against bunq. Even after Mastercard told them to stop and accept all valid cards 🤷♀️

Sixt kann ich leider nichts zu sagen. Mit Booking.com habe ich bisher keine Probleme gehabt. Hab dieses Jahr schon 2 Buchungen über das Portal vorgenommen ohne Probleme. Die Karte wurde bei mir ohne Probleme akzeptiert
hiroshxd Wenn ich die Kreditkarte bei Booking.com hinterlege, zeigt er mir immer eine Fehlermeldung an. Obwohl alles korrekt ist. Seltsam!
Ist die Karte mit einem Konto Verknüpft wo Geld drauf ist? Oder ist das Konto leer? Glaub die versuchen einen Betrag X zu Reservieren beim Hinzufügen der Karte.
I never had any problems with Bunq cards on Booking.com, but the cards were repeatedly declined at hotels in Cambodia - which shouldn't really happen. Very annoying.

Hello. But where is the mistake? My friend was able to pay with a "real" credit card without any problems. I have booked a hotel on Koh Rong / Cambodia for next year. Payment is made on site by credit card. Cash payment is not possible. I am already having concerns. I have to admit that the Bunq credit card is unfortunately not so great and its disguise as a real credit card is being blown.
Frank The "mistake" is at the side of the merchants/companies/etc. They can use bunq cards without any issues, but for some reason some decided to decline cards of neo banks like bunq. The bunq Mastercard credit cards show up in their systems like all other Mastercard credit cards. They should accept the cards according to Mastercard regulations.
