Am I insured for a scam by bunq?

Hi guys,

I was checking at this website were i want to buy a camera.
The camera is cheaper than the regular price but the site has some bad reviews.

What if I would pay and get scammed. Is Bunq in the position to force the money back?

Sidenote: The website asks to pay by a sepa transfer.

Antoon Christiaan Henricus If it’s a regular SEPA transfer, then there is no way to get your money back after a successful transaction. So I wouldn’t recommend to take the risk. If Mastercard is supported, you would have the choice to request a refund. But nonetheless, if the shop looks fishy, don’t try it.

Antoon Christiaan Henricus Only accepting SEPA transfer as a sole payment method is a big red flag. In 99.9% of all cases, only fake shops will do something like this. Serious businesses would offer a range of different payment methods.

Eine SEPA überweisung bekommst Du nur über Polizei, Rechtsanwalt und Klage vor Gericht zurück. Wenn eine Möglichkeit von Betrug besteht, dann lass die Finger davon.
