Bunq only provides the access needed to their API, but is not going to build something individually to connect to every single application out there.
It’s up to the third party, Xero in this case, to build it.
Xero doesn’t build any bank connections themselves. They outsource that to Yodlee.
So guess we have to contact Yodlee to get them to create the API so then Xero can start using it.
Although not very fast in the past, Yodlee appears very eager to connect new banks. They even provide a (in my opinion very insecure) ABN AMRO connection using the 5 digit code.
Hoping they will put some resources to build a connection to Bunq as well.
