Just to give some "historical" perspective here: Top-up via Apple Pay used to be a feature at bunq, but it was disabled in 2020 because of fraud issues. This is still documented publicly here: https://together.bunq.com/d/25824
The article states:
if something changes with Apple Pay’s fraud protection, we will re-evaluate.
As to my knowledge, nothing has changed in regards to that, and as such I personally wouldn't expect bunq to introduce this again right now. It's certainly quite handy to be able to use Apple Pay instead of having to put in your card details manually, but having no liability shift seems like a huge issue for topping up a bank account indeed.
