Did you try to change the region in your iPhone settings? It should be set to NL. Language can be any you need to.
Your mentioned you live in Amsterdam now, since 3 days. Bunq account should have been open with a Dutch address, if it is not... and had been open with your address in one of the countries where bunq does not support yet Apple Pay, then it would not work.

This is the list of countries where you can register as a bunq account holder and have Apple Pay enabled:

Efe You don't have to tap the + button in the Apple Wallet app, but you have to open your card in the bunq app and tap the "Add to Apple Pay" button.

Hi, I am having the same issue. My address is in the NL, I downloaded the app in the NL and it tells me apple pay is not supported in this country. Was there a solution for this?

Hey, It is fixed now. Basically 2 changes are required.

Change country under App Store
Change the region under Settings > General > Language & Region > Region
