Transfer done in wrong currency

Hi.

I transferred money from my South African account on the 1st September.

I still have not got my money back into my South African account.

I am not getting joy from Bunq nor am I getting joy from Standard Bank?

No one knows where my money is.

I have all proof that it was transferred into the correct account.

Who can I report this to?

Saskia Hi! Please contact bunq support to get the transaction ID. Send this ID to the South African bank. Because they are the receiving bank, they can investigate the payment using the transaction ID. Bunq can't investigate the payment after it has left your account.

How did you do the transfer? Using Wise? Or as SWIFT transaction?

Swift transaction.

Standard Bank is saying they are investigating it with you guys.

And you guys are saying you rejected it.

Really don’t know what to do

Saskia Unfortunately, bunq support and the support of the South African bank are the only ones who can help you, so I recommend trying to keep in touch with them!
