Need bunq Maestro

I am currently based in the Netherlands and live in rent. I notice that my National ID is not accepted because I am a Romanian resident. How can I proceed to obtain a bunq Maestro card in this situation? Thank you very much!

Viorel Hi! You'll need a Romanian passport or driver's license to open a bunq account.

Thijs Yes, I know, but the problem it's: if I travelled with my national id card and I don't have passport or driver licence, does not exist any more detailed verification process without this documents just with my national id and something else like a .. I don't know a video call vor verification or something because I really need that card ..

Viorel Then unfortunately, you won't be able to open a bunq account. Maybe there's another Dutch bank that accepts your identity card?

Or do you have a residence permit? That's also accepted by bunq.

Thijs It's not possible .. all the dutch bank's want for minimum a romanian passport.. 🥲

Thijs I have just a Burgerservicenummer(BSN) but it's also writted my romanian adress there because I used it just for employment and I live in a house from a recruitment work agency

Viorel Your Romanian address is accepted. But you also have a Dutch address now, right? And you need a residence permit, it looks like this:
