I live in Ireland and I just opened an bunq account. For some reason I was allocated a Dutch IBAN as my main account whereas it should be Ireland. How do I change that?
Roel Hi! Your first sub-account has a Dutch IBAN, because bunq is a Dutch bank. If you open a new sub-account, it'll have an Irish IBAN (Home > More > Add subaccount > Account).
Thijs Thanks. Once I have an Irish one, can I close the Dutch one to avoid confusion? Or do I simply not use it?
Roel You can do with it what you want! You can keep it, or close it, whatever you prefer.
