I cannot see an option to add a debit card to a Uk sub-account? I can add a credit card to this account, but see no option to add a debit card? Thanks
gareth Hi, Bunq offers MasterCard Credit Card or MasterCard Maestro, which is basically a debit card … but mostly used in NL… but working almost everywhere MasterCard is accepted. Why would you need a debit card? Credit Cards are more widely accepted. Regards GG
GG Because I need to set up a recurring monthly debit on my Uk account, but the 1st payment must be from a debit card linked to that account.
A credit card is not accepted.
Is it not possible to add debit cards to non-Dutch accounts?

gareth Hi 👋, The products mentioned earlier are all the available ones from bunq. You might check with the other bank if they consider Maestro by Master Card a debit card… which actually is. Regards GG
GG I think it would be accepted as a debit card as long as it is linked to my Uk sub-account.
The only option I see to add a debit card is linking it to my NL Euro account? Can I add a Maestro Debit card but link it to my Uk account - and get a Uk debit card number?

gareth Hi 👋, I think I must have misunderstood your initial question. Any card offered from bunq can be linked only to a bunq sub account you own. You can not link it to a bank account from another bank. What you can do is to transfer money from your other bank to the bunq sub account which is linked to your card and then spend those money using the card. Regards GG
gareth You can connect a bunq card to any bunq sub-account that you want. If you want to connect a bunq Maestro debit to a Local currency account with pounds, that's perfectly possible.
