My bank card number is different from my IBAN. I gave my friend my bank number showing on my bank card. He did the transfer 5 days now from a German bank and I still have not received it. I just realized IBAN in my bunq app is different from my card number. I asked him to go-to his bank and they send him back to contact bunq. Please help to

Heartwell Hi! If you have multiple sub-accounts at bunq, you also have multiple IBANs. If you have a bunq Maestro card with an IBAN on it, you should also have a sub-account with this IBAN. Could you check if this is the case?

The IBAN on your card is just one of your IBANs, you can connect your card to any sub-account you like.

Thijs I only have one sub account. I closed and open my account some time ago , can this be the reason I have a different IBAN other than what is on my card. So is the money lost? How do I connect my card to my sub

Heartwell That can be the case. Although if you reopen your account, you should still see the same sub-accounts as before you closed your account.

Can you see your card on the Home page? If so, you can connect your card to it, check this page for more info.

If money is transfered to a bunq account that no longer exists, the money is sent back to the sender.
