Simon ๐ฉ๐ช๐ช๐บ๐ฌ๐ง I'm definitely agreeing with you that, I just answered the question you asked above. I completely agree that it would be great for customers of countries outside NL or Sofort supported countries to have some more diverse payment options. ๐
Bitte kein PayPal, solche Betrรผger sollte man nicht unterstรผtzen.
Since Bunq update 13 bunq.me links are now accepting credit card payments. This is a MAJOR improvement, last but not least, which had been asked again and again for the last 2 years. Good ! ๐
Jerome Paypal Is also available if you add your PayPal.me link in the description!
Inderdaad.
Hi ๐ W. Janson-Korhorn
Looks like new payment methods are added today!
It's now possible to pay bunq.me links with:
Tim Aweosme! Thanks for notifying! Great news for all bunqers (and non bunqers too)
Tim There are still some fees involved when paying with Card or Apple Pay. Did bunq every reply to the question about surcharges being illegal in the EU?
It took some time after initial launch of the bunq.me payment links but itโs great to see that finally new methods are added to make this a universal useful money receivers tool around europe and the world. Thanks bunq ๐๐ปโค๏ธ๐
and how about bancontact next to ideal and sofort in the bunq app for webshop payment with your own bunq account?
Roeshimi
For C2C it's not illegal to surcharge as it's a cash transfer and not a purchase. For the C2B I haven't seen a conclusive message from bunq yet.
Tim So fees are OK as long as it's between two people, e.g. me sending money to you. With C2B I guess you mean B2C, e.g. when someone buys something at a shop and the shop offers bunq.me as payment option?
Exactly. So C2C its a money transfer (officially that has different wording like money remittance or something like that). B2B is excluded from these PSD2 rules so it's only a problem for business using bunq.me to let clients pay them for products.
Tim Thx for clarifying :)
Why do card payments require a minimum of โฌ10?
PayPal as payment option would be really nice!!
