I can't speak Dutch. But after many years on the bunq Together forum, I can actually now pretty much read everything. Have no idea how things are pronounced, though, haha :D At some point I would really like to learn it, but not sure if I will ever have the opportunity.
This is the community forum. Sure, I guess I could also just not give an answer at all. I understand it's not very helpful to say that the budget feature is not in a perfect shape, it doesn't solve the actual problem. But the solving is for bunq to sort out. We'll see what they'll pivot to in the future. Hope you don't mind me replying :)
100% agree. I'm a big budgeting fan myself. Had to make due with YNAB instead, which I have been using for some years. I have even written my own syncing tool for transactions from the bunq API to YNAB (with webhooks!), so I poured a lot of time into my budgets to get them just right. As for bunq's solution, well ... it is what it is. There are probably some people out there who are fine with it, but I don't think it'll cut it if you're serious about your budget.
"App bericht" is a ticket to support? These indeed get closed after they have been taken care of (which can mean that the support employee gave the information to the developers). You should see a history of all your tickets when opening the support center. I have like many dozens there from years ago, they never get deleted as far as I know.
Maybe you could describe here a bit more where it goes wrong? Any specific error message? Generally it should work, the only country I haven't tried myself is Ireland but the Local IBANs always worked fine for me (also on iOS here).
This feature btw already went through many different iterations (if you stay with bunq, you'll notice this as a general trend... things change around quite a bit). We had 1-5 star ratings before, but I think nobody used them so they wanted to make it more accessible and fun by having it a bit like Tinder where you swipe left and right. Agree that the gray icon is not so clear on the meaning.
Appreciate you taking the time to lay this all out.
