Expired direct debit

I set up a direct debit to the Tax authorities. Unfortunately I didnt realise that I needed to 'approve' the direct debit each time, and by the time I checked, the direct debit had 'expired' meaning I couldt pay it. How do I get it back so it can be paid?

Rye Fanoni You should contact the authority that send you the direct debit.
By the way, direct debits are accepted automatically if you don't accept them within five days, so it's strange that you mention that it was expired. Or maybe that only applies after accepting the first direct debit, I'm not sure.

This is one gimmick that is found only in bunq. I am changing my direct debits to other banks.
