At bunq, we prioritize the security of your account above all else 🔒
That’s why we added a new feature that doesn’t just make mobile banking a lot safer, but easier as well.
Whenever you log in on a new device, you don’t just get an email. You’ll also get an instant push notification telling you exactly in what city and country we detected a new login. Don’t recognize a new login? With just a tap in the app, you can log out of all devices, enabling you to reset your security code.
This means that no one can access your account without your immediate knowledge.
When will I receive this push notification?
As soon as any unrecognized device logs in to your account and gets detected, you'll receive an immediate push notification. This allows you to take swift action and maintain the integrity of your account. Once you tap the notification’s event, you’ll be able to see the following information about the new device:
- device’s name
- IP address
- city
- country
- date and time of login
What next steps can I take?
You have the option to either take no action, if everything appears as expected, or decide to log out from all (unrecognized) devices. .You'll then be able to change your security code right away, if that’s needed.
