Hey bunqers 🌈
With Stocks Beta, you can buy a variety of popular stocks and Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), selected carefully for you. In this topic, we’ll list everything you need to know about investing your funds in stocks with bunq and our partner Ginmon.
What are stocks and ETFs?
A stock signifies a share in the ownership of a company, entitling the holder to a portion of the company's assets and profits. Stocks are transacted on stock exchanges.
An Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) is an investment fund that holds a variety of assets like stocks, bonds, or commodities. You can trade ETFs on stock exchanges, much like individual stocks, but in a more affordable and easy to manage way.
How are the prices of ETFs/stocks determined?
The popular stock and ETFs prices are determined by market supply and demand, influenced by factors like company performance, economic indicators, investor sentiment, and market conditions.
Do I need to buy whole shares?
To provide you with the flexibility to invest based on your budget and risk preferences, you have the option to purchase only a fraction of the full stock or ETF. With a minimum investment of €10, you can start trading right away.
How do I find the right shares and ETFs?
If you have a specific index in mind for investment, we've collaborated with Ginmon to simplify your search. We've preselected the most popular shares and ETFs, making it more convenient for you to locate the right investment options.
However, we don't provide financial or investment advice.
Why can’t I find certain ETFs/stocks?
Currently, not all ETFs and stocks are available for trading on bunq. However, bunq and Ginmon have preselected a range of ETFs and stocks from thousands of options for simplicity and ease of use. More stocks, particularly those that require the deduction of Financial Transaction Tax, will be added in the future.
