US/international transaction to Bunq credit card

Hi, anyone who can help me with information about transactions done in the US to Bunq credit card? The people in the US assured me that the amount was transfered a couple of weeks ago but I do not see it on my credit card in the app.

How long can your payment take to arrive?

For SWIFT payments, the processing times can extend up to a week, due to the procedures of the other bank involved.

If your payment hasn't arrived

You can start an in-app Payment Investigation. To do so, see the steps below:

Go to Profile
Select 🟢 Support
Click on I have a problem with a payment
Select I have a missing payment
Follow the rest of the flow

Thanks, but I am still confused. Is it at all possible for a third party to transfer money to my credit card? I did send them the IBAN and BIC of my creditcard account (counteraccount, as it is shown when I downloaded the transaction history overview of my card and separate transactions). Also, can they pay in US dollars?

Geraldien It's never possible to transfer money to a credit card, as far as I know. It's only possible if it's a refund.

Money is transfered to an account, not to a card. If you give someone the IBAN of one of your sub-accounts, they can transfer money to it.

Keep in mind sub-accounts can only receive transfers in the same currency. So if you have a EUR sub-account, it can only receive payments in EUR and not in USD. However, if you're using the bunq Easy Bank Pro or Pro XL plan, you can create a sub-account in USD. If you're using the free bunq plan or Easy Bank, you'll have to ask the third party to send the transfer in EUR.
