Why are all cards valid for a month only

So i opened a bunq account to get a credit card because im going to Japan. I wanted to get a prepaid card so i chose bunq. Im going in february, but when i try and order a physical card they are only valid for a month. Is there any way to get it to be valid for longer?

Thijs When I try to order a card, it shows 12/28 as "valid thru"-date. Did you maybe interpret it as december 28th, instead of december 2028?
