So would a nice to have.

Private mode. If private mode is set, all amounts (euro) in account overview are hidden or blurry.

So you can open the account overview without showing everyone your actual account balances ;)

BBiker 🇩🇪🇬🇧 🏳️‍🌈 seems like a nice idea, but I don't think it's practical for banks, perhaps you could leave the app open on another tab, before showing it to people?

BBiker 🇩🇪🇬🇧 🏳️‍🌈 Personally I never understand why people would ever need a feature like that. I think N26 offers that feature and I don’t know a single person that ever used it. Don’t even know if the feature does still exist. After all you want to check your finances when using a banking app. If you don’t want other people to see your balance then you simply shouldn’t show anyone. I don’t care if friends or family see how much money I have in my account. Usually people have more than one account anyway so the other person doesn’t even know how money there is in total. If you don’t want them to see the total amount just unselect all accounts on the overview.

I just think bunq would have to use lots of resources to make a feature happen that probably not too many people would ever end up using it. Like I said earlier I don’t know a single person using that feature with N26. 99 % don’t even know there is/was such a feature. The usecase of that feature is too specific as that it would bring any value at all to the user expierences.

DaveFlash Well, a bank in Austria (Sparkasse / Erste Bank) is doing that and it's really nice if you want to show someone the online banking and how it works.

I can see that it would be handy to show off your bunq App sometimes... I did the same in the past when I had an android device. I installed the bunq sandbox app. Great way to make screenshots and showing the cool bunq app without worrying about showing real data.
Unfortunately that opinion is gone now that I have an iPhone. On my mac I still use the sandbox app in a virtual Android environment.

Although I love showing off the bunq App, I wouldn't make it a priority to have this feature. I rather would have a ios sandbox app instead ;)

In all other situation I simply never open my bunq App near other people (except my wife 😉)

Deutsche Bank's app offers a Demo mode while you're not logged in that has a few dummy accounts and a limited feature set (not possible to initiate a transfer etc.). Perhaps that would be a cool idea not only to demonstrate the app but also for potential future users to explore on their own
