Wouter I do see your point but I think it would feel weird if you enter a whole IBAN. Because IBANs start with letters like NL or DE you need the full keyboard to start with. Then they letters are followed by two numbers so you switch to numbers for only two numbers. Then you have to go back to the full keyboard because in the Netherlands you have four letters following. Just to finally switch back to numbers again to finish off the IBAN.
While it may sound logically to have a number pad for the IBAN it would totally slow down the whole process because you’d have to switch multiple times between numberpad and full keyboard. Especially in older devices this takes usually a long time to bring up the keyboard close it switch to numbers and so on.
It’s great to bring in your ideas 💡 but I don’t think this would be a good change.
