Public name is used on statement when transferring from one account to another

When I transfer money from one of my accounts to another and I then make a PDF statement the public name is used. This is a bit annoying since "Jeroen" is not very informative. And since I added flags the name shows up as "Jeroen ????????" on the statements which looks totally ridiculous for a bank to generate :sad:

Can this be changed to use the legal name?

Thanks for sharing. I never noticed, but I tried it a few minutes ago and you are right it looks and is strange. I also would expect only my full legal name on bank statements.

It even looks weird because all the emotions are replaced with a question mark 😔🤔.

So, big High Five 👐🏼 on your idea 💡.

John Do I guess this happens when it is unclear which name is used where, it's the same with using the public name on the bunq.me page instead of the legal name. You only know this if you try :sad:

Jeroen 🏳️‍🌈 I love that I can change the name on my bunq.me 🌈.... but, I dislike that this is automatically my public name. I can't change my public name because it also would effects the name I use on Together. 🤔... Hopefully bunq 🌈 will change that too ;)
