Lucas already gave the perfect answer, thank you for helping out! ๐The reason this happens is because think that IBANs are to long and hard to remember, so decided to make it way easier! We therefore link a phone number or email to your IBAN (s) and when somebody then uses the email or phone number to request or pay to, it's directly forwarded to the IBAN. By default the phone number and email you registered with are connected to your first account. You can easily unlink them by going to your Accounts > Account > Settings > Account Aliases ๐
Since the topic was posted, a lot has happend and we now introduced Shared Requests. These can be shared on multiple platforms and will always give the option to pay with iDEAL even when you have your aliases still linked ๐More information can be found here.
