Are there plans to support Garmin Pay in the future? My friends and I are runners and hikers who would love to use the Garmin Pay functionally of our sportwatches via a Dutch bank.

Rob Almost 2023, I use my Garmin watch to monitor my health, authenticate myself. I am able to automate my home using that same watch. I use Rabobank, ICS on my Garmin Watch. Looking forward to start using OV Chip on the Garmin as well. But the most technology driven bank that thrives on 'making life and banking easier' is still not available from the wrist. Would be a nice feature.

It would of course be pretty handy to relief yourself of all these devices while running. We're not looking into it at the moment, but we can definitely check it out ⌚
Koen Google Pay is definitely not the choice of those interested in data privacy. I'd put more faith in Garmin Pay, but I guess that's off the table, ey?

The payment technology for Garmin Pay & Fitbit Pay is coming from the same company FitPay (http://www.fit-pay.com/), so maybe "2 vliegen in 1 klap" with this feature.
Jeah same here! I want to use my Garmin sport watch to pay for lunch at work, or to buy a bus ticket after running when needed, or to pay for a drink and some dinner after sports. A basically always wear it so it would be handy.
What is the status? Garmin Pay with bunq is the further. Pay with watch
Just upgraded my Garmin Fenix to a plus version with Garmin Pay, so I am ready for the bunq beta test 😜
On the Garmin site under Garmin Pay™ Participating Banks (https://www.garmin.com/garminpay/banks/) The Netherlands is now included! Currently no banks under it, but maybe it is a sign that hopefully bunq will be under there soon ;-)
