When you top up your account using SOFORT, it is instantly added to your bunq balance. This is because we always advance it to your bunq account so that you can use your money straight away 💪
Why was my top-up reversed?
Sometimes your other bank can take more than 2 working days to transfer the money to us, in which case your SOFORT payment will be reversed. This means that:
- We will claim back the money (since we never received it from the other bank).
- We will notify you in the app.
If we receive the money from your other bank after the SOFORT payment was reversed, we will then automatically refund it back. It can take 1 working day for the money to reach your account after it's processed.
