Today β 16 days after bunq introduced βFreedom of Choiceβ by restricting it β bunq announces:
"Giving you even more freedom to choose, with today's release we're happy to announce the launch of a toggle for MassInterest π."
The toggle is called βI Want to Receive Interestβ and again it is activated by default.
Is this really freedom of choice?
It makes a big qualitative difference whether you affirm something or deny something.
To make this clear: I welcome this toggle.
But again Opt-Out instead of Opt-In is not really an occasion to party, rather the opposite.
All of this has a very bitter aftertaste. Was that by accident (again)? Or intentionally?
