I would like to receive a notification for new posts to specific topics. Is it possible to follow a topic on Together?
Jochen No, the only notification that you get is when someone hits reply on your post.
Jochen Should be a standard but not here. If I want to follow a topic I do copy the URL into Outlook and send me that link :)
Heiko Hartwig And then, how to manage to be notified about new posts to that topic?
Heiko Hartwig That doesn't always work. Moderators tend to change the title of a post to English and then the URL doesn't work anymore.
Jochen you canβt currently, you only get a ping when someone actively mentions you. π It would be nice maybe to have some kind of βwatchlistβ or something. π
Jochen That is just a workaround to keep an eye on interesting topics. There is no chance to be notified.
That would be a great idea, in fact it used to work like that but they changed it when they changed how high fives work π
Jeroen π³οΈβπ That's not true. Only the part up until the unique number is relevant. The part after that is ignored. E.g. Together.bunq.com/d/1234-test-topic only looks at βββ1234βββ, translation doesn't affect this.
Sander Nice to know. It would be nice if Together wouldn't keep adding the title to the url if it doesn't matter. If you do use the url with the old title you'll get a 404 error. Or has this changed recently? Because I ran in to this several times in the past.
Jeroen π³οΈβπ I've never encountered it and as far as I know it won't give you a 404, never encountered that. Some old URLS are even indexed by Google but still work. It's just a gimmick in the url to make clear what the topic is about (friendly/readable URLS)
Sander Strange. Of course I don't have the url's anymore because I removed them due to not working anymore. Anyway, thanks for pointing out how it works now :)
It would also be nice to see a list of βfavoritedβ topics.
Would love to follow topics. Great idea Jochen!

Heinrich you set the pincode in the app. Then you need to make a payment or withdrawal where you put the card in a terminal and use the pin. This needs to be an online terminal. Usually you can't tell the difference. Most ATMs are online. In The Netherlands most shops are online too.
I still think this would be quite helpful π
