  • Switch account via widget

Now, when doing an payment at a machine I often don't know which account is selected for the bunq card. To check i have to do the following :

1. Take my phone (iPhone 6)

2. Unlock

3. Search for bunq app

4. Open bunq app

5. Login (finger or code)

6. Go to 'accounts/rekeningen'

And when I want to change:

7. Click on 'cards/passen'

8. Switch to other account


8 steps is quite a lot and when standing in line for a counter you might not be done before it's your turn.

Is it possible to check the status within a widget? The following steps are only necessary :

1. Take my phone

2. Slide right for widget

3. Check status

When want to change

4. Change 'card/pas'

5. Choose

6. Verify


Guess this is quicker but not sure if it's secure. I really like to hear if this is a possibility or if there's a better idea.

    Yes please! I always have to open my app when I'm in a shop to first check which account my card is set to. Please make a widget and also make it possible to change account from the widget.

        Daarbij vind ik het persoonlijk ook niet al te prettig dat ik alleen maar de pas kan wisselen op het hoofdscherm waar al mijn saldo's lekker groot in beeld staan. Maakt me toch altijd een beetje zenuwachtig in de rij bij de supermarkt. Als er een manier zou zijn met dezelfde stappen, maar met minder gevoelige data op mn scherm, zou het al beter zijn.

            Als het via een widget gaat, kan dan niet iedereen die jouw telefoon te pakken krijgt (voor de gein) de rekening waaraan de pas gekoppeld staat, wijzigen?


            Daarnaast vind ik stap 3 belachelijk. Dat moet je bij elke App die niet op je beginscherm staat doen.

            bunq staat bij mij bijna in de dock.

              Stap 3 is bij nu eenmaal zo ;-)


              Via een widget zou niet iedereen dit kunnen aanpassen mits er om een verificatie wordt gevraagd. Maar goed, ik ben geen app-developer dus weet niet wat iOS/Android als opties biedt.

                  I have tackled / solved this problem, by connecting all my accounts to my main account, but the sad thing about this: I pay 1,- per month per account to integrate all my account into 1 account. I currently have my widget on the iPhone and the widget has all my bank accounts in 1 view, but it costs me, which is a bit of a shame.

                    How do you do that, Mark: connecting all accounts to main?
