Unfortunately my girlfriend and I have decided this week to no longer use bunq as our main bank. The new UI, lack of communication and changing focus from bunq does no longer fit our perspective of what we expect from a bank.
It’s a terrible shame it has come to this, because we truly love the bunq feature set and community, but the app simply has become impractical and even an annoyance to us.
We aren’t afraid of change and actually embrace it, as we both really enjoy discovering new features. Therefore the argument of ‘people don’t like change’ doesn’t apply. I also believe my girlfriend is part of the ‘silent majority’ and she hardly ever complains, but these past weeks ... well, she has.
