  • Confusing zero euros daily limit

Wit a master card, there is the option to set the daily limit to “0,00 euros”. Instead of disallowing transactions on the card, this actually disables the limit completely. That’s a bit confusing.

I have a separate online card (great feature!) that I use for more sketchy webshops and I set a daily limit of 1 euro (when I’m not using it to buy something). Would be nice to have a real “0,00 euros” daily limit (without blocking the card).

So my suggestion: make the “0,00 euros” daily limit actually be a “0,00 euros” limit and add a separate entry “no limit”.

Is there something wrong with just freezing the card when you don‘t use it?

@bwesterb#78621 Link your cards to an account with zero balance. This has the same function than setting a limit to the cards.

Or just freeze them for the period you don't use the cards.

I can understand the confusion, as when setting the app limit to €0 it means you need to enter the pincode/FaceID for any transaction - even if €0,01. Don’t see why you’d put a card to €0 either, but the confusion makes sense.
