  • Is it possible to turn off contactless payments for cards?

If it is technically possible, it would be a nice feature with added security.

Another idea for added security: don't print card numbers on the card (or remove as they can be found in the app). Same applies to "valid until".

@Juergen-Grey-Zebra#79084 Should be possible, as others are doing it. Some banks have on/off toggles for location based transactions (the phone has to be in the same country as the purchase, swipe purchases, contacless purchates, withdrawals at ATMs and online transactions. So I guess it can be done. Would be really great to have this as a bunq feature as well.

@Juergen-Grey-Zebra#79084 You need the card number for paper slip transactions. Although I don't know if these are still done somewhere in the world.

@maique#79093 You do have some points here, although I must say bunq's country-based whitelist is sufficient for me.
Swipe purchases are configured indirectly, i.e. when you don't have USA on your whitelist, mag stripe is disabled.
To be honest I never understood the desire of some people to disable contactless with their cards, but I agree that there should (again) be a toggle for that.
