You can place Coinbase's Reference Number in the description field of a payment in the bunq app.

Coinbase has a nice copy to clipboard function which you can use for it. Just paste it in the box and it works! 👍

That's great now I know, I did this with coinbase but forgot to put the reference. I did suggest having a reminder in the app to remind people if they need a reference before just pushing the button like a gibbon. So thanks for the information. 😀 Love bunq

Coinbase also requires your account name to match your full name. How do I edit this. I edited the name of the account but when transferring it still just uses my initials..

The name you are able to edit in the app is your publicly visible name in the app.

However, for transactions we always display the legal name of the account holder in the following format: initials + last name.

Perhaps you can check if your Coinbase account's name matches your legal name? Keep in mind: first name, middle name, and surname😊

Coinbase requires first name + middle name + last name NOT initials + last name as far as I can tell from their instructions. If this does not match money will be reversed after 25 days minus fees

Incorrect, a bank account always represents the full name and initials + last name. You can just add your bunq IBAN @ Coinbase. I have done it several times without issues.

Qarizma when you sent a sepa to coinbase did you just add the reference code in the comments section. I sent mine without and it just returned to me after 5 days. Do I need anything else in that field? Many thanks.

Everyone here is commenting on sending to ibann I believe. What I was mentioning was for SEPA which coinbase specifically stipulate that regulation requires the account name to match your FULLNAME else the money will be returned. I will try ask on a new post as the post is answered.

It’s the same thing. A SEPA transfer is performed with your IBAN. I can confirm that Coinbase accepts the desposits from your bunq account. So don’t worry and try it :)
