Make bunq.me a 'tikkie beter' again by adding an Apple Pay payment option

I guess he‘s referring to when you accidentally vote again for something that you had voted on in the past already.

Nour It seems that bunq doesn’t or can’t listen to the votes of all the people who have been calling for more payement options for bunq.me requests. And opening new threads like this one instead of adding to the existing threads for the same topic may dilute the votes and may not serve our cause.

Several months ago, when I wanted to post a wish on this issue I made a quick search and chose to add to this existing topic instead of adding a new one.
I noticed that no one made a single post after me.
Therefore I added my vote on the present thread.
Nonetheless, if every single of us on this thread made a vote on the initial two years old thread and keep coming over once upon a while, it would show that it’s A LONG TIME WISH OF MANY BUNQERS.
Adding a vote to a two years old thread which calls fore more payement options for bunq.me is in my opinion an easy way to increase our chances of bunq listening 👂 and maybe starting to work on the topic...is there other people in this thread that would think and act like I did ?
Or should we forget about the two years old request, which includes the request of this present thread (adding Paypal to bunq.me) ?

Jerome I also just upvoted here and in the other thread. Maybe bunq will listen eventually and I also believe that a thread hygiene is important to show as many votes as possible but I also know that it's hard to achieve. Because people.

Marc Tiedemann Yes Marc, you did well to upvote also in the other thread which is older that this one, and thus historically important for this feature request (more bunq.me payment options than the only three : Bunq user / SOFORT / iDEAL

Bunq has made some steps by introducing Apple Pay for top-ups but not yet for bunq.me payments. Be sure to leave a like on this topic and this topic!

Nour It's sad that bunq.me doesn't see more love. I love the feature so much, especially since they introduced multiple links! Sofort and IDEAL isn't even an option for all bunq countries :/ so depending on where you live, you can't really use bunq.me at all.

What a great update we had yesterday! Now we can also pay a request by credit card so we're do close 🤏🏻 to have Apple Pay too in the future.

Update 13 really improved bunq.me but still, Apple Pay would make it a lot easier to pay. Also the Limit of 10€ for card payments seems to restrict it for a lot of personal use cases.

I think Apple Pay won’t be available as long as it costs the user an additional percentage to pay with Apple Pay (I think Apple doesn’t allow this...). It would be great for buns to count these requests towards your free 500€ top up limit or give you the option to pay the fees instead.

Bunq update 13 is great. I’m so pleased that last but not least, after years of request (the first thread on the issue was started by a bunq user 2 years ago) Bunq.me now accept credit card payements since Bunq 13 update 👏

Tim I just tested this. Unfortunately it doesn't. Which is very strange to me, a payment is a payment. This would be the way to avoid the USD->EUR processing problem, you can simply let them pay with Apple Pay and the issuing bank will convert it to EUR on the sender side - not your problem. Bunq, however, completely blocked cards outside of the EU. Very strange move and for me that instantly makes it useless. :(

Oh well, maybe in the future they'll fix it.
