However, what I still do not understand: Why are bunq and iDeal such big buttons and SOFORT is just a small link below of them, which is only visible, as soon as an amount is inserted? Here in Austria nearly nobody can pay with bunq or iDeal, but everybody is able to use SOFORT. If they are looking on a request or at the new bunq.me page, they see only the other options and are thinking, they are not able to pay...

Sofort link isn't shown on desktop, can this be changed? Maybe change it too a button too!

Paypal would also be a nice addition.

Bancontact would also be nice for Belgian bank accounts that don't use sofort or PayPal.

I think the main hurdle with this is that bunq needs to pay a transaction fee to handle creditcard and paypal payments, these are not fixed but based on a percentage of the sum. So -if- this would be integrated than the costs of the transactions should somehow be paid by the donating or the receiving party; this makes things a bit more complicated than just ‘adding an extra button’. Maybe a system that when you setup the bunq.me page you can switch between “i will carry the transaction costs” or “donations will pay transaction fee separately”. Meh, not ideal (no pun intended)

Also add bitcoin, ether, and Apple pay for international users.

Yeah, but take patreon for example only accepts credit card (as far as I know), and they charge the transaction fee to the donating party, don't see why bunq couldn't do the same...

Add an option to add /xy after the bunq.me/itsme link, xy being a number that prepopulates the amount field. Takes away a bit of needless friction.

It’s the default method to add GET parameters to an url. I hope they simplify it by using your method.

Fantastic feature but indeed would love to have additional payment options such as credit card and paypal, only then it would make sense to use internationally. Also it would be great if there were more ways to customize the text field, include links to projects, photos etc.

This would be an awesome feature! And a bigger button for SOFORT would be great as well.

I believe bunq wants to become the new PayPal, so I doubt it will ever be supported. But then again this bunq and they can do everything.

In either case creditcard support is a primary need for international use. With fee coverage options like split, account owner pays or sender pays.

Indeed, the 'Sofort' button should be the same size as other options.

Now it seems like this bunq.me service is aimed at dutch market only, while we do have so many other european countries and customers already.

As bunq has intentions to become a internationall/global bank, we should not make a difference in which payment methods are presented.

Maybe a puldownmenu would be a solution when there are more available?

Creditcard, Paypal would be the most used and common options but also Skrill (other e-wallets) and Apple Pay would be interesting.
