Withdraw ‘X’ from savings account

Hi all,

Ever since Bunq started offering attractive interest rates, I use my Bunq savings account as my primary savings account. I really like the fact that you can choose where your money is invested. Also, things like Auto Save are handy. However, for me, there is one issue I would like to see resolved, being that 'Withdraw all' is your only option.

For example, if I have a balance of €1000,- on my savings account and I need to withdraw €100,- because I only need part of my savings that day, I now have to withdraw everything and move €900,- back into my savings account.

So, can we please get a 'Withdraw X' button in the next update?

Menno Brendeke At bunq, every account is a savings account. In other words: You get interest on every account. It sounds to me like you are using a savings goal as a savings account. You can just create a regular account, and use it as a savings account.

Menno Brendeke Just click on the "Pay" button on the accounts screen, type in the amount, then the account you want to send the money to, and then on the final screen you can click on the sending account on the left side of the screen and choose your savings account.

There's no need to withdraw everything, it already works right now.

Peter B True, but if you save without a savings goal you cannot use Auto Save.

bunq interest is based on all your bunq accounts together. Doesn't have to be a savings account or just normal bunq account.

Sorry if I caused confusion, Peter B’s right. I’m using a savings goal for my savings, as I would like to use Auto Save too. But with that comes the fact that you can only withdraw all.

Menno Brendeke Vanuit het Spaardoel kan je alleen alles overmaken. Als je in het algemene rekeningoverzicht zit (waar je dus al je bankrekeningen kan zien) kan je ook op betalen klikken. Daar kan je dan het bedrag intikken, de ontvanger en op het volgende scherm kan je de rekening aantikken waarvan wordt betaald. Daar kan je dan je Spaardoelrekening kiezen.

Alternatief is een betaalverzoek sturen aan jezelf en die dan met de Spaardoelrekening betalen.

Menno Brendeke You can use the Pay button on the account screen, or even use the Pay button on another regular account. Only on the last screen where you confirm the transaction, you can just change the originating account to your savings account.

As you can see I can transfer 1 Euro from my "Ukulele" savings account to my regular account like this.

You could always use the Add Money under any account and choose the savings goals as a source.

From your savings goal you can indeed only push the full amount to another account. But you can pull any amount of choice from your savings goal.

All those workarounds are nice and stuff, but they remain inconvenient tricks around a missing feature. I agree with the first post, withdrawing any amount would be awesome! 👍
