All my small payments with the new travel card without PIN are rejected in the US. Is there a solution or is this normal?

@Erik-Red-Kiwi-2618406356#101409 You need to make sure that you use the card with pin before contactless payment (nfc) works. Also make sure to activate USA in the allowed countries list.
@Heda#101410 Hai Heda, I already activated my card by using it with pin in several occasions. And my region is set to worldwide ... Is there another solution?
It never worked for me either in the US but just now in the UK it did (normal debit MasterCard)
Maybe this is linked to the BIN of the travel card currently being identified as Russian? This causes me some concern. Visiting the US later this year and no way I dare to use the Travel Card for paying my ESTA travel authorization.
I just used my Travel Card on a trip to the US and it worked everywhere I used it (and I virtually never entered my PIN, since the US is still mostly using signatures…I even had a chip+sign transaction). I think there’s was one store where my Travel Card didn’t work, but the debit card worked. Might’ve just been a temporary thing.
@Sarah-Blue-Turtle#103816 Sometimes people feel free if they're not taking care for technical details like BINs.
