I think this will not be an option any time soon, because:
1. Costs, a credit card transaction cost a lot more than a Sofort or an iDeal transaction.
2. Charge back’s, there is a big risk of charge back’s and fines that come with it.
3. Credit/Loans, bunq doesn’t like those.

Are you topping up your normal bank account with credit card as well? Don't think so.

This does imho not fit to the bunq concept, as bunq is a real and full bank where you should have more than 1 EUR on the account ledger.

And again for me it would be very helpful to top up from my “normal bank” in Denmark to Bunq directly with credit card, instead of using my Revolut account to top it up by credit card and sending the money after to Bunq by regular IBAN transfer...

@Lander#65747 I absolutely agree. It should be made possible to choose. Nobody would be forced to use an option. Monese shows how it could be.

@Lander#65754 Never having used it myself, but I've been told that Transferwise has nice exchange rates. E.g. https://transferwise.com/us/currency-converter/dkk-to-eur-rate?amount=1 so perhaps that's a way to sidestep your banks high fees. Although I find it a bit odd that a bank charges high exchange rates for SEPA transfers but doesn't use the same high rates for their credit card payments.

I used once and then I figure out that was faster doing it throw Revolut, it takes just one day, with Transferwise it was a little longer 🤪

Definitely would be great if this were to arrive as I use my Transferwise account to get EUR and topup my account which takes a while and has fees.

@Koen-Orange-Swan#4486 This would help immensely. Revolut for example allows this, even through in-app Apple Pay, which is nice. I know SEPA transfers are much cheaper for you so I understand you have to weigh the costs vs. the benefits. But it would be fine if you could restrict it to certain types of cards. Debit/Prepaid must be cheaper than Credit for example.

It would be good if you can check the possibility internally.

SOFORT is not a good choice unfortunately for Germany. You give your banking details and full access to your account to a third party who by their terms and conditions not only transfers the funds but also checks the transactions in your account. Very fishy (phishy?).
