TransferWise is the best. Alternative you can use XE
I Would like too. One of the best thing is you can top up your account instantly. This perfect for traveling and even going out.
This feature will help a lot of people.
Jeroen π³οΈβπ Sepa takes one day. Card payment is instant!
Westland Dat wordt hopelijk vanzelf opgelost als meer banken SEPA Instant Credit Transfer gaan ondersteunen.
Westland It depends. Transfers from Germany to NL Bunq are often within the same day and are free of charge for the receiver in opposite to top ups with a credit card. People using a credit card should be charged with 5β¬ then.
Hey guys!
With our latest version of the app you can now proceed and top up your bunq account using a Credit/Debit card! ππ³
Check out the following link and keep bunqing! π
Raul Excellent that this has now been added! I assume itβs coming to bunq.me next π
Raul "There is a fee of 0.5% for EEA cards, and 2.5% for non-EEA cards"
Could you please explain how these "payment" fees (as specified in your pricing guide) would be conformant to the "surcharge ban", as mandated by article 62 of the EU Payment Services Directive, which (to my knowledge and by now) has been transposed into the Dutch civil code (article 520)?
Steven let's hope so, and next to paying bunq me links with a card, it would also be nice to use a mobile wallet instead to top-up or pay bunq me links: for that, that is topup by apple/google pay, we have a separate topic to put it on bunq agenda/wishlist, so please upvote it: https://together.bunq.com/d/9198-top-up-using-apple-pay-google-pay
perfect/ that's an awesome feature which now has been added to several other great things I love about this app // well done Bunq!
Merci bunq pour cette option très utile. Reste à comparer les tarifs TransferWise avec bunq.
NiB I would also like this question to be answered. Credit card top ups would be great for users if free of charge as in Revolut or Skrill. I hope this can be reviewed soon.
Hi π @NiB
Please check the following comment from another topic about this. In short, this doesn't count for money transfer services.
Tom Yeah, that specifically covers merchants that are the beneficiary of the money being paid. This in reality means that those merchants build the cost of payments into their profit margin on the price of the product. Of course with a money transfer service that doesn't happen, because we won't charge you β¬10 for β¬9 in bunq credit π Money transfer services like this and TransferWise for example aren't covered by the rule, but of course we only pass on what it costs us to provide the service.
