• Performance Issues bunq App

Hi guys,

today I am facing problems after login into the bunq app (Apple, iOS). After login (FaceID oder manuel code entry) it takes nearly 10 seconds until the accounts tab (or the content) will be visible.

Is it just an issue on my side or are there others experiencing this?

      I'm experiencing the same behaviour.

        Also in my case.. around 10 a 15 seconds loading after using fingerprint.

          I had the same issue but I’m using now the Beta of The new iOS (that goes at September this year to the public) and the problem is gone. I don’t know why but that’s how I fixed it

            I had the same a single time, afterwards it was fast again. Chances are they are preparing for tomorrow's update and running some hotfixes/database updates causing the servers to be busy/autoscaling to kick in. šŸ™‚ you can try switching from your data plan to wifi or vice versa to see if that makes a difference 😁

              @Sander#105849 Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass eine Bank im Live-System und zudem tagsüber Maintenance durchführt. Aber eine mögliche Erklärung wäre es natürlich.

                @Heiko-Hartwig#105850 Normally this happens at night indeed, but critical fixes are deployed immediately. During my time at bunq I saw this happening multiple times. Luckily the system is build/set up in such a way that this is actually possible. šŸ‘šŸ˜ Have you tried to switch your connection to see if it matters?

                    Hatte heute auch die ein oder andere Sekunde an extra Wartezeit. Evtl. Vorbereitungen für morgen?

                    War jetzt aber nicht so, als dass es wirklich ā€žstƶrendā€œ gewesen wƤre oder die App in ihrer Funktion beeintrƤchtigt.

                      I have this constantly, but only when on 4G. No problems at all on WiFi (with a PiHole). I reported it a while ago, but I think @Andreas may have forgotten about it :) Probably my bad as it took 2 weeks for me to get back about it.

                        @LH-Black-Wolf#105906 I just checked here, but logging in loads instantly forcme over 4G. Can you reproduce the issue right now? If so, can you record a video of if (please login using touch/faceid so we cannot see your login code) and send it theu support? Thanks!

                          @Andreas#105908 Yes, I just did. Unfortunately support chat doesn’t allow uploading video lol, I’ll upload it and send the link to support chat within a few minutes.

                            @Andreas#105910 Done, sent it per email - tagged you in the subject. Note that I trimmed it exactly at the moment it stops hanging - the video otherwise shows the accounts plus balances and I don’t really trust email as a secure enough channel for that :)

                            Just to note, this is only on 4G. It goes through on WiFi in less than a second.

                            Unfortunately I can’t reliably test if the same issue is present if I push the 4G traffic through my VPN at home (which is then automagically also subject to the PiHole), looks like some caching is going on. I’ll test that tomorrow for you if it might help.
