• Using Siri Shortcuts to Auto Switch Card Back

Very nice tip! 💪🌈

Wow I didn’t know shortcuts work that way. Thank you👍

@Andreas#106869 Is it me or is there also a delay before Siri learns about the action you had just performed in the bunq app? I made a transfer and it was not available rightaway in the Shortcuts app

@Roeshimi#107152 There shouldn't be any delay. The Shortcuts app however often doesn't pick up new action until you restart it.

@Andreas#106803 Nice one, but isn’t the shortcut terminated when the screen is locked?

@LH-Black-Wolf#107175 It isn’t - apps can continue in the background for a while, so something smaller than 2 minutes does work fine

@Andreas#107177 Nice, I didn’t know it kept going! It always seems to drown when locking, but this explains a thing or two.

I’m going to use this for online purchases hehe. I have a card that is always linked to a €0 account, now with Siri a shortcut can be made that links the card to another account, click pay online and let it switch back to the €0 account. :)

@Robbin-Blue-Turtle#106844 how did you get these in dutch in the shortcuts app? they appear english on mine, eventhough everything is set to dutch

                  @Andreas#107154 Great hint, thank you

I love you guys so much 😘 💕
Siri Shortcuts is awesome, especially now with bunq support 🌈

@DaveFlash#107180 the titles of the Shortcut items are in the language of the bunq app

@Andreas#107195 Yes, which is dutch for me, but the titles are not.

@DaveFlash#107197 that's interesting - is your Siri also set to Dutch / by any chance running iOS 13 also?

@Andreas#107198 Yes everything is set to Dutch and no bèta’s here. Only good old iOS 12.

@DaveFlash#107199 Interesting! We do send the translated texts to Siri. It seems to work here with a phone set to Dutch and Italian. Wondering what goes wrong on your device. Do other Siri shortcut items from other apps show up in english also?

@Andreas#107200 Some do, some don’t, telegram dutch, whatsapp dutch, trein (a dutch Railway navi app) English, YouTube dutch again, prime video, also dutch

@00#107203 @DaveFlash Just checked: It's a bug in the Shortcuts app (so many bugs in that app). Siri does use the correct translation, but the Shortcuts app does not. I see multiple mentions about this, such as: https://forums.developer.apple.com/thread/108609 .

It sounds like iOS 13 at least improved this a bit.

@Andreas#107206 Okay, so I guess I have to wait...

@Andreas#107206 @DaveFlash#107211 In iOS 13 it indeed seems to be in Dutch.
