So often I wanna show off how cool Bunq is but I don't want to let people see my balance. A simple option to hide balances would be very handy! Like shake your phone to hide balance.

Great idea π
@Cryptolee#108491 Siri, hide my balance! :)
@Roeshimi#108512 Siri, hide my balance! :)
- "Are you sure you want to transfer [balance] to Sander?" π¬
Sounds like a nice nifty feature. ππ
@Cryptolee#108491 Seeing is believing! So, I do would like some way to demo bunq π. Hiding my balance or simply having a demo mode sounds awesome.
In a crazy period of my life when I still had an Androidπ², I used the sandbox app for that π... But then I became a wise man, and got an iPhone π. Unfortunately, I now haven't got a easy why to show off my bunq π App π π (or test stuff out)
@JohnDo#108637 John, you hurt my Android heart. π₯ I was just about to walk into the Apple Store for an iPhone but now I will fight for Android til the end!
@JohnDo#108637 Yep!
@johannes#108639
@JohnDo#108644 Now you know how the bite in the apple logo happened.... π
N26 has a neat feature: You can hide your balance if you swipe with your hand over the proximity sensor in the phone. No shaking necessary. That would be great!
@Cryptolee#108491 I like it!
Would be great when bunq has a demo video or tutorial vi
Would be great when bunq has a demo video or tutorial video somewhere in the app or on the website to show off the most awesome features of bunq.
The site is more text based now, while a video would bring things more to life for most potential customers.
Another option would be to have a public dummy account to show off the neat features like a request or the slice feature.
@Khez#109347 Never noticed this before! Would be great for bunq tho!
I like this feature, but I can see one issue with the implementation. When you hide the balance the numbers canβt be seen anymore but the amount of numbers can still be seen. So you can still see if somebody has got about β¬10 on the account or β¬100,000 on the account. Maybe itβs a wise idea to make all the blurry lines the same length.
It seems the option of blurring the bank statements is gone since I have updated my bunq app. :/
