It's currently not supported and I highly doubt that it will be in the future in a sense that you have to enter a username and password. Entering your credentials in some portal is not secure. You should only enter those details on the website of your own bank. When Lexoffixe integrates the bunq API (or api of another bank) they are done, exchange of an API key or granting permission then happens by means of scanning a QR code or entering the API key. 👍

Ist doch klar, ich habe keine Frage gestellt, aber das man in Lexoffice nicht einmal die IBAN eingeben kann um das Konto offline zu benutzen und dann im Rechnungsformular dafür nicht die BV erscheint, hat ja nichts mit einer API zu tun.

In order to enter an IBAN in Lexoffice to retrieve your data of your bunq accounts you need some kind of connection to bunq. These connections go via some kind of API. In bunq's case this would be their public API. Other banks that are integrated will also have some kind of API such that Lexoffice can read the accountdata. 🙂

Ich empfehle unter https://www.wettbewerbszentrale.de/de/beschwerdestelle/sepahinweise/ eine Beschwerde einzureichen (geht auch direkt bei der BaFin (siehe https://www.bafin.de/DE/Verbraucher/BeschwerdenAnsprechpartner/Ansprechpartner/BaFin/bafin_node.html)). Das auch wenn die Entscheidung gegen Lexoffice/Lexware bereits gefallen ist, denn egal wo die Beschwerde eingereicht wird, man geht dem nach und i.d.R. wird (wenngleich nicht umgehend) dafuer gesorgt dass der Umstand abgeschafft wird, in diesem Fall also bei Lexware. Dass eine Beschwerde etwas aendert kann man bestens am Beispiel der DB (die sich wirklich ausgiebig zur Wehr setzte und dadurch gleich ein sehr eindrueckliches Urteil erwirkte :) sehen, siehe https://paytechlaw.com/en/iban-discrimination/ (EN) oder https://paytechlaw.com/iban-diskriminierung/ (DE).

At bunq support: Sorry for answering this in German, basically I say that Lexware does practice IBAN Discrimination and urge the original writer to complain at German government institutions about this; simply since complaining solves issues - which is the latest link from paytechlaw.com about Deutsche Bahn.

@Ingo-Stefan-Schilling#141014 I'm pretty sure this is not a matter of IBAN discrimination; I believe that only involves your payments. So if you were not able to pay your invoices only for bunq; that would be IBAN discrimination. You should be able to pay regardless of the origin country of your IBAN. However, companies need to spend time on an integration with each and every bank, there are plenty of companies that don't implement this yet as the costs don't outweigh the added benefits (relatively small userbase of bunq compared to e.g. ING, ABN, etc.).

The Lexoffice Support told me:

"Eine Anbindung von Bunq ist weiterhin nicht möglich und auch nicht geplant.
Hier wird aus datenschutzrechtlichen Gründen auch keine Erweiterung mehr kommen. Grund dafür ist das EuGH Urteil zum Datenschutzabkommen mit den USA."

Mit meinen privaten Konto bin ich schon lange dabei. Nun habe ich mich entschieen da Geschäftskonto von BUNQ zu nutzen. Lexoffice benötige ich für die Buchhltung, es wäre einfach spannende, wenn es eine Anbindung zu BUNQ geben würde. Hat BUNQ kein Interesse, das Problem anzugehen? Ich stehe nun vor der Überlegung, dass ich das Konto schließe und zu einer anderen Bank wechlse, die ein Anbindug ermöglicht.
