• Travel Card limit for paying without pin?

Today I wanted to pay for a bandana in the Zion national park visitor center using the bunq travel card.

I used the chip, the terminal asked me if the amount was ok and then nothing happened (blank screen) for a moment and then the payment was cancelled.

Later on I saw in the bunq app that the limit for paying without pin had been reached. But a pin code was never asked, that option was not available for me. They just wanted a good old fashioned signature.

I had to use a credit card from ING Soni could pay. The terminal simply never asked for a pin.

This is why we cannot fully switch over to bunq yet. It still is not fully working everywhere in the world. I have to bring secondary options.

Where can I find the settings for paying without pin? (Like a maximum etc )

    @Mark-Aquamarine-Shark#110610 hi Mark,

    All limits are listed in this topic. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™‚ Might be that this was al old terminal. ๐Ÿค” Can you check with Support chat ๐Ÿ’ฌ maybe whether that's the case? ๐Ÿ™‚

      Dag allen, oude terminal of niet MasterCard is MasterCard zou je denken, ik heb zelf ook al weigeringen ondervinden ivm foute pin terwijl ik toch daarvoor op een andere locatie heb betaald met de reiskaart. Sta je dan in de rij bij de kassa in het buitenland...

        @Rachid-Violet-Tiger#110613 Heb je hiervoor contact gehad met Support? Wat voor melding kreeg je bij je transactie-overzicht?

          Ik heb de afgelopen weken in zuid Korea dezelfde issue gehad. โ€˜The limit for paying without pin has been reached. Please insert your card in the terminal and use PIN code.โ€™ Maar de chip wordt al in de terminal gestoken, maar ik krijg nergens de optie om mijn pin in te toetsen. Gelukkig hadden we een ASN kaart achter de hand. Maar hoe kan dit รผberhaupt (andere dagen besteed ik veeeeeel meer met dezelfde kaart). En wat doe je in zoโ€™n situatie?
