• Codeless payment limit

I regularly get Tap&Pay limit reached messages when trying to pay using my phone.

After contacting support about this I set my daily limit to 50 euro and auto logout to one week. The payments which I make with Tap&Pay are always below 5 euro and I have not made more than two transactions per day.

As far as I understand, this limits is the total daily limit for codeless payments across all accounts for all transfers which do not require a code.

I noticed that every Monday I reached my limit and was required to pay another way (used my card instead of Tap&Pay). I've scheduled a weekly transfer from one of my accounts. I was prompted for a code when I scheduled this payment, but am not required to enter a code when the payment is send.

However I think this payment also counts towards my daily limit. This is very inconvenient, because now I have to increase my limit to at least the scheduled amount + some extra for Tap&Pay transactions.

I do not want to set the limit as high for security reasons.

Am I correct that scheduled payments count towards this total, and is there another way to word around this?

P.S. The following happens when trying to make a Tap&Pay payment during this scenario

1.) Unlock phone

2.) Tap the terminal with unlocked phone

3.) bunq app will show that the payment failed and ask me to retry

4.) Click ok

5.) I'm prompted to login into bunq (I use fingerprint)

6.) Now a yellow retry logo is shown

7.) Tap again

8.) Terminal shows limit reached.

9.) I concede and I just pay with my old back account card.

    And this ;) https://together.bunq.com/topic/please-set-a-info-warning-about-the-amout-you-can-use-with-tap-pay

But your wish here is something wich maybe need to integratet in the Terminal Software
