I want to use a 0970 number as a telephone number. That is from a data only subscription. But this is not accepted. Can anything be done about it?
Rutger-Pink-Quokka you must have a number on which you can receive an SMS for verification. Furthermore, I believe bunq filters on specific area bunq . Nothing can be changed for us, but you can submit your problem to the Support chat ideas or email@example.com . 🙂
A 097 number is indeed only intended as data-only, and may not be used officially for calling / texting. A workaround can be a prepaid card, which you can often request free of charge.
Tumble dryer According to the ACM, 097 numbers may be used for voice or SMS. See https://www.acm.nl/sites/default/files/old_publication/publicaties/16001_097-en-06- numbers-information-for-telecomaanbieders-20160701.pdf
A 097 number can receive excellent SMS. I also think it is a missed opportunity from Bunq that these numbers are not supported. For example, I cannot create accounts for my children who only have a data only plan.
