  • No authentication required when paying online?

Hello
Yesterday I purchased digital goods and I selected ideal and Bunq when the page was opened noticed me I have to open bunq app and accept the purchase, in all shopping process face id nor pin did not ask from the App! how it's possible!
I imagine if someone had my phone couldn't use my bunq app without any security Challenge! is it possible to review it again?

    Thanks for sharing your concerns 👍.... Security is a top priority at bunq 🌈 They put state of the art technology to work to keep us safe.

    There are multiple layers of security.. here are a few examples:

    • you have to set up an access code or similar to prohibited that some one access your phone. This is mentioned in the terms and conditions.
    • to open the app you will need a code or things like FaceID.
    • ones your are in... you session will stay active a week. But, you can shorten this yourself in Profile ➡️ Security and Settings ➡️ Auto logout. It can be set as low as 0 minutes.
    • depending on the various daily limits you can set, the app will ask for a code during a payment.
    • with high risk payments or changing certain settings... the app also will also ask for handscanning or pass phrase.
    • behind the scenes intelligent systems constantly monitor all payments and will flag suspicious actions.

    So, I would state that bunq 🌈 is one of the most secure banking apps out there!

      I setup all security options, if you would like I can make movie for all whole shopping process you'll see the didn't ask any security Challenge

        @Saeid-Green-Hummingbird#115622 this really sounds like you were still logged in into the app. Did you close the app completely before making the purchase? When you still have a valid/active session it is not required to log in again. This also depends on your Auto Logout setting as John already explained above. 😁

            the app was completely closed and I click on pay by bunq and the app didn't ask any security items!

                  @Saeid-Green-Hummingbird#115708 I'd rather have that you answer my and Peter's question. 😉 Then we actually try to pinpoint the idea. 😁 A clip can easily contain personal info so I'd not advise to do so, or send it to the Support chat 💬 if you want to share that.

                    @Saeid-Green-Hummingbird#115708 The behavior is normal if you're still logged in and the payment is not particularly suspicious and not a high amount. If you always want to be checked, then go to "Security & Settings" and set the Auto Logout to "0 Seconds". Then you will always have to authenticate yourself for every action.
