Is it possible to cancel or delete a card that you have but in such a way that you don’t want a replacement and it doesn’t count anymore towards your 3 card limit?

@The-Caveman#116091 Click Freeze, and then Block. Then the card is permanently disabled and you won‘t get a replacement for it. A new card might not be free, though. There could be a single time fee if you already had created 3 cards in the past. But it won‘t have monthly costs if your number of active cards isn‘t over the limit of your subscription.
@Jakob#116093 So suppose I have 3 cards and freeze+block one, I would likely have to pay if at some point I wanted 3 cards again? Or would my card total be reset to 2?
@The-Caveman#116094 Even if you block a card permanently, it counts to your total when it comes to the production costs for the cards.
For monthly costs, only active cards are relevant. So yes, if you just want to „pause“ using a card, it might be a better idea to only freeze it and put it in a drawer so you can start using it again later without having to create a new one.
However, if you have for example two Mastercards and one Maestro right now, but you really want two Maestros and you are ok with only one Mastercard, then there‘s no way to change to this completely free of charge. It would cost 9 euro once if I remember correctly in order to „create“ the second Maestro card that didn‘t exist before in the system.
@Jakob#116095 That was clear! Thanks!
