No, the N26 MC-Debit card exists in a sort of in-between space.
It processes as credit (and can be used online/internationally) for the merchant/acquirer, but it will immediately debit from your account, rather than drawing off of your credit limit like a traditional card would.
Especially considering N26's fee structure, and their decision to make money mostly off of the (higher) merchant interchange of credit, it makes them extremely competitive for people that want an international-friendly card, but don't need a line of credit. (Or just need more than the painfully low limits that Dutch banks offer when traveling...)
