💳 Do I need cash in Israel, or can I use my card everywhere?
Card payments are accepted in most places in Israel, but you might encounter some stores that only take cash. It's a good idea to have some cash as a backup. Keep in mind, Maestro cards 💳 are rarely accepted. So make sure to bring your shiny Travel Card 💳 or Debit Mastercard.
💰 What currency do they use here?
The currency here is Israeli new shekel. The symbol is ₪ or ILS.
🏧 Which ATM’s can I use for free?
The bunq community has reported free withdrawals at these ATMs.

- Hapoalim Bank
- Krimi banks
- Union bank
💵 If I want cash, how much should I take out of an ATM?
300 ILS should be enough for a few days.
💳 Should I choose local currency or Euros when paying?
If you're asked to choose between local currency and Euros, always choose local currency.

Most EU mobile plans will charge you for roaming.
