When instaling bunq app and creating a new account, several times in the process the countey if the user is requested. The first time, i fill in Nederland. What annoys me (or, room for improvement ) is that I need to fill it in at keast 2 times more and it's not defaulted to Nederland

Hey Hendrikus! Thanks for reaching out to us!
During the registration process, every bunqer is asked for the address (including country), the issuing country for the document they use, and the countries where they are tax liable.
Considering we can allow bunqers from all over the European Union, with passports issues all around the world and so many different tax numbers, that's why we don't include a default country in any case, cause the combinations can be endless! π
Marc, thanks for your reaction. My point is not that I have to fill in a country one time. My point is hat the 2nd and 3rd time the Bunq enrollment process asks for a country, it doesn't re-use the country I filled in already, as a default selection. Think about it, chances are probably 99% that it's the same country.

You're then implying that only 1% of the people living in the Netherlands have a non-Dutch passport, which is a bit ignorant π
Hi Tim, not exacy. Just implying that for the overwhelmjng majority of the Bunq users, it would be an improvement to the enrollment peocess if the 2nd/3rd country selection would be defaulted. It's likely not applying to 99% of the users, but even if it's 80% it would still be a good improvement. For the remaining %, having a default equal to the first selected country, doesn't mean additional effort in comparison to 'no default' they get today.

It's been noted and we'll definitely take a look at it. Many thanks for your feedback!
