Pakistan is a cash driven society. Be sure to withdraw enough cash ahead of time.

35 000 PKR should be enough for a few days.

πŸ’³ Should I choose local currency or Euros when paying?

If you're asked to choose between local currency and Euros, always choose local currency.

    Kan ik mijn normale debit kaart gebruiken in Pakistan of moet ik travelkaart nemen

      @HinaBatool#216598 All cards work in every country, but sometimes the merchants / ATMs in a certain country will only accept certain card networks or no cards at all. Mastercard generally has better global coverage than Maestro. While it mostly doesn't matter if Debit or Credit (except sometimes for hotel / car rental deposits), if you try to use a Maestro card where only Mastercard is accepted, you won't have any luck.

      So definitely take either a bunq Mastercard Debit or bunq Mastercard Credit (aka Travel Card) with you.
